It was so much fun wondering through the archive of dresses that I made in the almost three years since I started working in fashion. There are lots of memories, lots of colors, shapes and styles. What’s great is that I can easily find something to style these selected pieces of jewelry with.

The Franklin Mint recently started carrying designer fashion jewelry and it was a pleasure to take a look through all the collections and imagine outfits for the pieces that I liked.

I started with the colored earrings from Coralia Leets. For the beautiful colors to really pop out, you need to wear a beige/grey/nude/taupe/neutral colored dress. I chose this silk draped one shoulder asymmetric dress, which I made a while ago. Just imagine wearing it with one of these earrings and your hair pulled back in a chignon – a perfect cocktail look!

To go with the masculinity of these Michelle Rhodes pieces of jewelry, I chose a grey metallic cowl neck draped dress with a feminine bow at the bust. The contrast of the feminine bow and the bold sterling silver cross necklace for example, would be very interesting and unexpected. I would also wear all three necklaces at once for a stronger look.

Once I saw these beautiful and elegant Pinchandra pieces of jewelry, I instantly remembered about this dress that I also made a while ago – a beige silk chiffon draped bustier dress with a metallic zip at the front and gray degrade spray paint. The colors of the dress with the gold and silver of the jewelry go very well together, while the circular lines inspired by the form of the moon would add a really elegant touch for an evening appropriate look.

I could not help but love the playfulness of the Romero Britto charm bracelets; I would totally wear them with a cobalt blue tutu tulle skirt and a black sequined jacket. The skirt could really be any other bold color, but it should be uniform for the bracelets to really stand out. A perfectly appropriate outfit for going on a date or at a fun party.
