Davina looked and walked amazingly at my ss2011 collection presentation last Sunday at Ponton Casa Baraj – Valiug. Flavia made the constructed silk flower that you can see in the back. Big ‘Thank you’ to her!

This picture is very special to me, because I remember seeing all them girls lined like this, wearing the long printed dresses and I just thought they looked so amazingly beautiful. Will never forget that feeling.

I was so excited. Organizing and having a runway show with too little help and wanting it to be perfect is an incredibly exciting experience. I felt such gratitude at the end of the day, it was the same feeling that I get after one of my clients is happy and looks amazing in my work, only multiplied by a thousand.

Carmen was great. I can’t thank her enough for her support. At least I can try by making her sexy, tight dresses that flatter her great figure. Oh, and she is a mommy to lucky Luca, so…yeah!

I made this dress a while ago and can not stop wearing it ever since. It’s certainly my summer 2010 dress, even if Florin Chilian did not love it. )

Bogdan helped me with the make-up. Too bad that we had to start one hour early because of a storm. Fashion shows are usually late, so imagine how stressed I was in the backstage to get everything ready – all the girls dressed in their first look – in 10 minutes.

Because my sister travels across Europe this month, I did not have enough help backstage, so I asked my mom to be my assistant for the day and get the girls dressed in time. She probably was even more stressed out than I was, but she did a great job. However, next year hopefully my sister will be back to help.

Now that the presentation is over I can not wait to concentrate on the fall 2010 collection. Bring on the thick cottons and warm wools, right?
