This is the dress that I made for the lovely Flavia for her to wear at her wedding party.

Sure, she also had a classic, long, white gown to make the in-laws happy but for the wedding party with her friends she wanted a different, unique and a bit over the top kind of dress. I was soooo happy to get so much freedom regarding the design, we chose the fabric together and then I made 6 sketches for her to choose from:

The blue and pink sequin attachments are excitedly hand sewn. I really had a lot of fun creating this dress and it’s amazing what a bit of creative freedom and trust from the client can do to your energy. Flavia is also a young architect, so I can’t wait for her to create/design my first wickedly minimalistic/geometric clean and spacious house.
