I still have a lot of work to do, lots of prom an wedding dresses to cut, sew and finish and I love it! I get to learn so much about the practical work that needs to be done in fashion; you learn a lot when you experience work with different kinds of fabrics and body-types and patterns. It is exciting and I am sure I will use all this experience in my future collections. Now I know I can also create these kinds of princess dresses too. It’s actually good to know.

I am proud of all the handwork that goes into these kinds of pleated spray-painted dresses. And the great part is none is like the other.

Andreea’s custom made prom dress with red lace cut out and sewn back together, taking the form of the bustier. A lot of hand sewing here also but I love how it turned out and the excitement on her face when she tried it on when finished was priceless. <3

Angi also had specific ideas about the dress that she wanted to wear at her prom and I love that she chose something so sophisticated and sexy at the same time. I sewed all the embroidery on the dress by hand of course and I totally love the draped back. I put a lot o energy into making this dress and I absolutely love how it turned out. love love love!

I loved to work with the turquoise silk for this dress custom made for Raluca. It is soooo soft! Also love how it turned out.

A silk spray painted clutch that I made for Corina, to go with her dress, fitted below on Nico just because she wears a very small size and I wanted to make sure that I did not make the dress just right.

Usually when I have clients who can not come at fittings and who wear smaller or bigger sizes than the medium one, I always get them fitted on a model or on a friend with measurements similar to the client’s. I like to be able to sleep at night and not stress myself out about the fit. Oh, but I am stressing myself out enough as it is, I am usually such a neat-freaky-perfectionist it hurts. ))

Can not wait to get pictures from Corina’s prom and see how she wore the dress and the Josephine head-accessory.

Nico loved Corina’s dress so much that I had to make one for her also, inspired by the one above, with slight custom made changes. Above, at the fitting, wearing a new Josephine necklace.

I believe I told you how much I love to hand sew these pleats on dresses. The effect is very unique, no? I will make it my signature.

Conclusions: turquoise and cobalt blue seem to be the most loved colors this summer and also I made a lot of dresses with an open or very low cut back. Sorry that I don’t post more often on the blog, but actually buying fabrics, cutting, sewing, fitting, finishing, ironing all these dresses takes up all my time and I love doing it, of course.
