Jasmina is a lovely girl I met through a friend, she helped me out when I most needed it, at the fash expo I had this year, by modeling for me. She is tall and gorgeous and an amazing person, so I was very excited when she told me to make her an engagement dress. Jasmina wanted tight black lace with a corset closing at the back. At the fitting, together with her graphic designer boyfriend we decided to make an asymmetric trim which really elongated her figure even more.
I wish them all the best, to learn and to cherish and appreciate each and every moment lived together.
Jasmina at the fitting, the dress of course looks so much better worn by her than on the mannequin and a detailed picture of the back below.
I custom made this dress for Carmen, another great girl that I am lucky to make dresses for. The taupe silk draped gown was made for a wedding that was organized at a castle. Hopefully I will get pics from the event, because I would love to see the dress being worn with that location as a backdrop. Making this dress did involve a lot of pleating and draping and hand-sewing but I love how it looks on her.
I feel so lucky to have so many amazing girls/ladies/women wear my work. It is a feeling that can not be described by words.
