The adorable Flori from Chicanos contacted me a while ago about making her a dress for the show she had on stage at this year’s Callatis Romanian music festival. She gave me a lot of freedom regarding the design of the dress and I am thankful because of that. I knew I wanted to make something different, special but also age appropriate and stage-ready, so this is the dress I made for her. All those layers of embroidery are separately sewed in a way to create this shaded/ombre effect from cream to pink.

We made a fitting and of course I had to take Flori’s picture as I love the shade of her lipstick!

And here she is wearing the dress last weekend at the Callatis music festival. She is incredibly adorable and so great to work with! Flori really is open to new ideas and ready to rock. Can’t wait to work with her again!
