These two DBD dresses are made from two different kinds of silk fabric, both of which I adore. The quality of the fabrics makes such a difference when working/actually sewing them. That’s why I stopped working with too stretchy fabrics, one needs a special sewing machine and a different kind of thread needs to be used when working with that. 

I also must mention this (+ this other) interview with me, on Feminis, where I talk about how it all started out and how I dream of making an extravagant dress out of 100 meters of silk, never minding the production costs. I’m sure I’ll get there eventually, because I can.
