January began pretty bad, stressful and with lots of issues to solve. It’s great to have supportive people around, however one has to work through the hard times alone. I worked through it. Literally. When you don’t have a large sum of money to invest in the business, it’s always tricky to decide it’s priorities. For example: I want to apply for a trade show next fall in Paris, for which I have to guarantee a certain sum of money, which will be blocked until then; also, I need to finish the new collection: buy more fabric+pay the seamstress, all of it being an investment in samples, meaning no actual profit. I want to do both of them, I have to, actually. And figuring out the ways to do it is the tricky part of running a fashion business from the grounds. Never boring, I tell you!

However, some fun new projects make me stay positive. This being one of them:
