Unica is quite an important Romanian woman’s magazine, so when I heard that they used one of my dresses in their spread I was instantly full of joy. First, because I don’t personally know the fashion editor, which means she chose the dress purely because she liked it/thought it was appropriate for the spread. And it actually works very well with the golden quilted handbag, which they give as a present with the purchase of the magazine. Secondly, because if you like what you do and you stand by your work, other people will too. Without ‘special relations’, without gifts or bribe. As I said,  never even met the person responsible for choosing the clothes to appear in editorials. But I certainly can’t wait to personally thank her, as she gave me a whole lot of new faith in the Romanian fashion industry. Whowouldhavethought, right? I, personally, am glad; as this proves Romania starts evolving in regards to locally produced fashions/designs.

I couldn’t help post this snap from the ‘Sapte Seri‘ events magazine. It is the poster from the Ramayana Pulp Fiction Party. Sure, it was weird to see my face actually printed. From here to the cover of the Romanian Elle magazine is just a small step, right?
