I am happy to finally post the look book of my latest collection: Diana Bobar Design spring/summer 2009 ready-to-wear. I wanted to create super feminine and flirt-y looks/silhouettes, using a lot of pastel and cream colors, lace and flower-like fabric appliqués on soft, easy to wear cotton, satin-cotton and pure silk fabrics.
The runways show for this collection will take place on the 18th October at the No Name club in Timisoara, Romania (if there are any changes I will post about them) and of course everybody is invited to both come to the show and to comment on my latest work. Too bad winter is right around the corner and next summer is so far away!

The DBD beauty look for next spring is a clean and soft one, the most important thing being the perfect foundation and shiny blush. Nude lips, long lashes and purple eyeliner are key-ideas for this look that was specially created by Sergiu Bechian for Diana Bobar Design spring 2009 r-t-w collection.
The shoes are made by Coca Zaboloteanu for Diana Bobar Design spring 2009 r-t-w collection and can be ordered in any size at diana[at]sofashon.com or dianabobar[at]yahoo.com. I am so happy about how they turned out, it’s our first collaboration and Coca actually created exactly what I wanted, what I asked for. They are how I imagined them to be and I can’t be more pleased with the results of our collaboration. Here’s for more!
The jewelery is created by Florina from Josephine and again, it’s our first collaboration and I can’t be more pleased with the results! Pretty, feminine and precious are key-words for the Diana Bobar Design spring 2009 look, and these Josephine for DBD pieces are exactly that. Me and my model and best friend, Roro. We always have such a great time together; she will always be the one to close my future fashion shows! The business of fashion means a lot of work, but when finishing a collection one can only hope it meant a step forward. Improvement is key. At least for me.
