Some designs from my own humble fall/winter 2008/9 collection – DBD – Diana Bobar Design.

Reading Susie’s post about the Central Saint Martins’ MA graduate collections made me take a serious look at my fall collection (it’s still in the works). I will finish it in two weeks, and if everything goes by plan, I’ll photograph the look book on 29th March. I am super extra excited. As you can see, the color palette is darker, with a lot of grays and only peaks of bold colors such as hot pink, pretty purple and cobalt blue. I have also used printed fabrics (sheer zebra, African inspired, hounds tooth). I will tell you no more about it, as I’d love to surprise you. Hopefully all the hard work I put into ‘the fashion thing’ (as my friends call it) will be worth it and the look book will be just as I imagine it to be.

Truthfully, I am so tired right now you can’t even imagine. I am beyond the moment when all you want is to sleep; I’m more in a numb-ish state of mind, when all I think about it work work work; I feel a bit like a robot. Who said life was easy anyways?
