The busy weekend I had turn out to extend itself into a pretty busy week, just they way I like it! The photo shoot I did all day Sunday was a success, we shot in a studio where an old photographer worked. Mr. Damian kindly borrowed me his 3000 Euro Nikon camera (my Sony dsc-h1 is nothing compared to that one), I was so scared to use it, but was extra careful and nothing went wrong. The photographer didn’t really know what we were doing, and in the end, when he looked at the photos on his computer he was amazed how good they were compositionally, so amazed that he called them “art”. He couldn’t believe that I started taking photos only a couple of months ago, he said I have the talent and the “eye” to be a photographer. Also, he said that I should stop doing whatever it is that I’m doing right now and start working in photography. Of course my model friend Roro contributed a lot to the photos (I’ll post them soon). It was incredible for me to hear that from a man that has been doing it professionally for over 30 years. Soon he will have an exposition, and of course I’ll document it on the blog.

I still can’t believe Mr. Damian’s words; all I do is go on, not really thinking about making a decision between fashion design, styling, or photography: doing my work for school, organizing all the orders of clothes I need to sew, actually sewing them, posting my work on the blog and planing future projects/photo shoots.

Also, I love to wear waistcoats lately!
