Starting from this black-green printed bolero, me and Silvia worked on developing a pattern for it, and we came up with this one (pics top). The fabric is not that soft, like in the original version, but I thought that was a good thing, as it has more volume this way. Also, I absolutely loved this green and white print when I saw it, so I had get it, never-minding the higher price. The garment is professionally sewed and finished, thank you Silvia for the help! I sent this bolero out to a client in Bucharest, but if you want one (maybe in other colors) contact me at diana[at]sofashon.com (also send your bust-waist measurements + the shipping address) . The price for it is 30 Euro (plus shipping taxes: 15 Euro for U.S., 13 Euro for Europe).
Silvia designed and created this white dress, with a lot of pleating detail at the bust and a paper-bag-type of skirt. I love that is has so much volume, also the details look amazing from up-close (the ones at the bust area are actually hand-made). The waistband and the halter of the dress are made out of gray satin fabric, and the closure at the back is made using tiny buttons. The size of this exact dress is somewhere in the range of 38-40, but if you like it you can order one just like this in whatever color you like, made exactly after your own measurements. The price for this dress is 50 Euro (+shipping).
This is another dress we made by order, for an amazing client from Bucharest. We modified the pattern from this dress, the idea for the color combo came from the client, hopefully I chose them near her expectation. The fact that the she wanted to wear this dress at the first part of her wedding ceremony is such an honor for me! Me and Silvia really put a lot of effort, passion and love into making it, hopefully it will fit her well (it’s not finished yet, as I have to work some more on the upper part, transforming it into abstractly pleated roses). If you want a similar dress, contact me and we’ll work something out. The price of this dress depends mostly on the fabric I use (this dress would go for 50 Euro (+shipping), but it can also be created from a more casual type of fabric, if you don’t want to wear it only for special occasions, then the price would be a bit lower (40 Euro + shipping).

It is great to work with patterns and finish garments like you would find them in a store, but it is a bit more complicated. Usually, when I think of some dress and try to sew it from scratch, it gets to be more of a sample than of a sell-worthy dress. The process of professionally creating a dress may take up more time, but the end results are amazingly pleasing!
