?No, it’s not the kind of dress Victoria Beckham would wear to one of David’s soccer games. I call this dress this way firstly because of it’s color, secondly because of the thick fabric the bottom part is made out of. Anyhow, I had only so much of this fabric, so I just went with it and made myself a autumn-y dress. I added the golden satin fabric for a bit of a contrast with the bottom part, which is very heavy and boring. Also, pleats at the front of the dress and on one side of the bodice are details I thought added a bit of feminine. I plan to wear this dress mostly during daytime, with burgundy thick tights and a knitted cardigan. Maybe I’ll even try a shirt underneath in a neutral color.
I apologize about my “blushing” cheeks, I felt a bit sick today, having throat ache. So, all I did was to watch Top Chef Season 3 and sew this dress. Thank God I didn’t f**k it up, as I had problems concentrating. I did take some medicine, so hopefully I’ll be fine tomorrow morning for my driving lesson.
