This is actually a huge skirt which I made bubble-y because I just love volumes a lot. Today I wore it at school as a high-waisted skirt, with a tank, belt and crazy neon-pink leggings. Of course I was called names on the street, on my way to school: “Cute Pink Panther” was the best, however I did get the most horrified looks, from strangers, today.
I think this kind of shape work perfectly for body-types with wider hips (like me), because it hides the “humps” and turns the attention towards the waist.
By the way, I paid about 30cents for it, at my favorite thrift store here in Timisoara, Romania.
Amazing what you come up with when you don’t afford expensive [designer] clothes, no?

Don’t like the pink leggins that much – don’t know why, but, anyway… But I don’t know what I would have worn with it… Probalby red tights??? OR green? Guess I simply don’t like neon colours that much…

I like the second style better. I found a huge old skirt that my mom used to wear when she was young and I planned on wearing it cinched with a vintage belt, just like you in the picture. However, I absolutely love those leggings.
But I think they shorten you because of the way you wear them inside your shoes. idk, just my opinion.

Besides, who wants stuff that everyone has? I’d much rather have that skirt!
